Welcome to Yvette Effect! I am excited that you found my company and want to learn more! My name is Kandyce Yvette, and I founded Yvette Effect, which is based in Houston.

Yvette Effect is an activewear brand rooted in love, inspiration, and empowerment. Founded in honor of my grandmother, Margaret, who lived a vibrant and active lifestyle, Yvette Effect is a tribute to her legacy and the values she passed down to our family.

Margaret, a former college basketball player, was a true fitness enthusiast who always looked effortlessly stylish in her matching workout sets. She taught me the importance of staying active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle and instilled in me a love for fashion and fitness that I carry with me to this day.

In 2019, Margaret's life took a tragic turn when she suffered a stroke that left her bedridden and unable to walk or talk. On November 8, 2023, Margaret passed away, leaving a legacy of strength, resilience, and determination.

At Yvette Effect, we honor Margaret's memory by empowering women to prioritize their physical and mental health through affordable, stylish, and functional activewear. Our thoughtfully designed pieces cater to women of all body types and fitness levels, ensuring that you not only feel good but also look good while staying active and healthy.

As a brand, we are committed to supporting the community. That's why 5% of every purchase is donated to the Stroke Foundation to help stroke survivors experiencing financial hardship cover the costs of physical, occupational, or speech therapy.
